Isn't "tax cut" a government euphemism for a property confiscation reduction?

Government is a euphemism for brutal oppressor, so the tax cut analogy would fit. It's always nice to hear a politician tell us that they're "giving" us a tax cut. They're not giving us anything, they're just taking less.
