My 11+ year relationship needs help. What to do?

You sound very sweet. I think you need to take your family's advice. You have to do what's best for you, and obviously staying in this relationship is not what's best for you. Your fiance sounds like he takes you for granted. I'm so sorry to hear about your father. I understand what it feels like to loose a very close family member you love. Do what's best for you. If you're confused, take some time away from him & go to your families place for a while to think, cry, and regroup. It's alright to make mistakes in life, as long as you realize them and go on. It's wonderful that you have a very loving set of women in your family. I wish you God's best.
