Why is my best friend a whore?

she had a child out of wedlock. she met this guy at a coffee shop and didnt' even date him. she doesn't even know where this guy is now and she didn't know anything about him except his name and that he was in the military. she slept with him several times over the very few weeks that she knew him. he disappeared of course once he found out she was pregnant. she only had his cell # which he changed. i never understood why she did it. she has thrown away everything. she dropped out of college and her work told her she couldn't get ahead in her job until she completed her degree. she had to move back in with her parents and has been there for 3 years now with no intentions of leaving. her parents had to postpone their retirement to help support her and her child. she has tried to find a new guy to be serious about and find a father for her daughter but has been unsuccessful so far and i think she has given up. think about how much more having this child complicated her future relationships. it is against our religion (she is my religion) to have sex before marriage. and i can't understand why she ever got herself in a situation like this where this could happen. please help me understand.
