Will the Jehovah's Witnesses ever...........?

Doubtful that they will. They may say it was a wrong interpretation of the prophecy. Any false prophet can go with that line. Or perhaps they may say "we never claimed to be inspired", but they that leaves the door open to them to be called "uninspired prophets", and some certainly are expired prophets by now.
